John Randolph was married to Sarah Cunningham, an American film, stage, and television actress. The couple got married on January 3, 1942, in Chicago, while Randolph was performing in Orson Welles’s stage production of “Native Son”.

They had two children together, a daughter named Martha and a son named Harrison. Sarah Cunningham was born on September 8, 1918, in Greenville, South Carolina, and died on March 24, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 67.

Sarah Cunningham was known for her work in films such as “The Loved One” (1965), “The Boston Strangler” (1968), and “The Fury” (1978). In 1982, he appeared in a first-season episode of Family Ties as Jake Keaton.
John Randolph played Judge J. Waties Waring in “With All Deliberate Speed”, a 1976 episode of CBS’s mini-series The American Parade. In 1991, John Randolph guested in an episode of Married … With Children entitled “Al Bundy, Shoe Dick”.
John Randolph was a special guest star in the 1986 ABC made-for-TV movie The Right of the People in which he played Police Chief Hollander
