Andy Richter is still active in the entertainment industry. He has been working on several projects since he departed from Conan in 2021.

In 2022, he appeared in composer Marc Shaiman’s satirical mini-musical called “Prop 8 — The Musical” ¹. In addition, Richter has revealed that he’s planning to work with Conan O’Brien again, after years of serving as his sidekick.

Andy Richter was raised in Yorkville, Illinois, and graduated from Yorkville High School in 1984, where he was elected Prom King.

Andy Richter voiced himself in an episode of the 2021 Netflix animated sitcom Chicago Party Aunt. From 2006 to 2008, Richter had a recurring role as “Sad Dad” Stan in the TV show The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Andy Richter appeared in the Fox series Malcolm in the Middle in April 2002, and then in the NBC sitcom Will & Grace in October 2005.

Andy Richter wrote for the short-lived Jonathan Brandmeier television show. In May 2021, Richter appeared on the Gus and Eddy Podcast hosted by comedy duo Gus Johnson and Eddy Burback.
