De Los Reyes rose to prominence with his inaugural significant role in the long-standing ABC soap opera “One Life to Live.” From 1995 to 1998, he portrayed Antonio Vega, initially introduced as serving a life sentence for murder but later exonerated on the grounds of self-defense. Initially believed to be the son of matriarch Carlotta Vega, it is later revealed that he is actually the son of Carlotta’s brother, Manuel Santi. Returning to the show in 2000, De Los Reyes continued to captivate audiences as Antonio until 2009.

In the widely acclaimed 2012 video game “Call of Duty: Black Ops II,” De Los Reyes brought the character Raul Menendez to life—a Nicaraguan arms dealer and terrorist, setting the stage for another Cold War in the futuristic year 2025. He reprised this role in subsequent installments, “Call of Duty: Black Ops IV” and “Call of Duty: Vanguard.”

His extensive credits also encompassed film roles in “Nixon,” “The Cell,” and “Salt,” along with television appearances in “Sleepy Hollow,” “The Rookie,” and “All American.” Notably, De Los Reyes was slated for roles in Marvel’s upcoming series “Daredevil: Born Again” and Hulu’s “Washington Black,” according to his wife’s spokesperson.

Kamar de Los Reyes is survived by his wife, actor Sherri Saum; sons Caylen, Michael, and John; brothers Daniel and Walfredo, Jr.; sisters Lily and Ilde; and parents Matilde and Walfredo.
