Kandi Brown-Parker is a former basketball player and coach. She was born in Kentucky and played college basketball at Morehead State University, where she was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2015.

Kandi is married to Gerad Parker, who is a football coach and former wide receiver. Gerad set state receiving records with 238 catches, 4,814 yards, and 52 touchdowns while playing at Lawrence County High School.

The couple has three daughters named Kolbi, Gwyneth, and Rosalyn, and a son named Oliver. Gerad Parker was formerly the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at Notre Dame and the offensive coordinator at West Virginia University.
Gerad Parker coached wide receivers and defensive backs at Raceland-Worthington High School from 2005–2006. On January 17, 2017, Parker became the running backs coach at the University of Cincinnati.
Gerad Parker replaced David Corley as the wide receivers coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions on January 10, 2019. Parker was hired as the head football coach at Troy University in December 2023.
