Steve, affectionately known as Stel, works closer to home in St. John’s. Seamus emphasizes the importance of making the moments they have together count, acknowledging the challenges that come with busy lives.

“I don’t tend to miss him when I’m in Ottawa, that’s when I’m the busiest. When one of us is at our home in St. John’s and the other person isn’t there – that’s our place, that’s where we are together – so when the other person isn’t there, that’s when you miss them the most.”
