Jonny Coyne, an accomplished actor known for playing the All Father in the American supernatural adventure television series “Preacher.”

From his inaugural steps on the small screen in 1990 with an impactful appearance on “London’s Burning,” Coyne’s journey has been a captivating odyssey through the realms of television and film.

His pivotal moment arrived in the mini-series “Gulliver’s Travels,” standing alongside Ted Danson, propelling him into more substantial projects. Across the years, Coyne graced the screens of various British TV series, leaving an impression with guest appearances on hits like “EastEnders,” “Pulling,” and “The Bill.”

Venturing into cinematic realms in 2003 with “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life,” Coyne set the stage for a diverse and expansive filmography. His adeptness in transitioning between genres was evident in 2010’s “The Nutcracker in 3D.”

However, it was his portrayal of Warden Edwin James in Fox’s “Alcatraz” (2012) that thrust him into the limelight. Post-“Alcatraz,” Coyne continued to exhibit his acting prowess, embodying intriguing characters such as Dr. Lydgate in “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” and “Once Upon a Time,” as well as the compelling George de Mohrenschildt in “11.22.63.”

His cinematic journey unfolded with versatility in roles like “Would You Rather” and “London Boulevard,” showcasing his adaptability to diverse cinematic landscapes. In 2013, he embraced supporting roles in noteworthy films, assuming the guise of a henchman in “Gangster Squad” and the trusted right-hand man to John Goodman’s character in “The Hangover Part III.”

A significant milestone in 2018 saw Coyne enter the third season of the AMC television series “Preacher.” Taking on the recurring role of Allfather D’Daronique, he embraced the challenge, adding authenticity by donning a fatsuit.
