In an Instagram post on Sunday, June Shannon expressed the family’s grief and admiration for Anna’s resilience in the face of a relentless illness. “She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months,” Shannon wrote, revealing that Anna had succumbed to cancer at 11:12 pm at her mother’s home in Milledgeville, Georgia. Gina Rodriguez, the family’s manager and close friend, conveyed that Anna’s passing occurred surrounded by loved ones, including her two daughters, sisters, husband Eldridge Toney, and other close family members.

Tragically, Anna Cardwell’s passing took place on her youngest daughter Kylee’s birthday, adding an extra layer of heartbreak to the family’s loss.
