In a recent episode of her “Bitch Sesh” podcast, actress and comedian Casey Wilson opened up about what she described as “the truly single worst experience” she has ever had with a co-star, pointing fingers at Tim Allen, the star of Disney+’s “The Santa Clauses.”

Wilson, renowned for her roles on “Saturday Night Live” and “Happy Endings,” made a guest appearance in the pilot episode of “The Santa Clauses,” which premiered in November 2022. Despite keeping the incident quiet for some time, Wilson decided to share her unsettling encounter with Tim Allen, citing her kids’ love for the movies and a close friendship with a producer on the show as reasons for her silence.
The troubling incident occurred during a scene where Wilson’s character is supposed to throw things at Tim Allen, whom she believes to be a burglar descending the chimney. Wilson recounted that Allen, in the midst of the scene, complained about her stepping on his lines to a producer standing nearby, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere on set.
Describing the tense atmosphere, Wilson mentioned that everyone seemed to be walking on eggshells around Allen, who behaved rudely and made no effort to engage with others. She emphasized how uncomfortable the situation became, stating that Allen never made eye contact or said anything during the shoot.

The discomfort escalated when, after finishing a close-up shot that featured her in the frame, Allen abruptly left the set without informing the cast or crew. Wilson detailed the departure, explaining that Allen exclaimed, “Leaving!” dropped his Santa cape on the floor, and walked out. His stand-in was hurriedly brought in, providing a more pleasant experience for Wilson to act against.
To add a final sting to the incident, someone, possibly a crew member, passed by Wilson and casually remarked, “You’re seeing him on a good day.” The remark, according to Wilson, hinted at the notion that Tim Allen’s behavior could be much worse than what she had experienced on that particular day.
Casey Wilson’s candid account sheds light on the challenges faced behind the scenes and serves as a reminder that even in the magical world of Christmas productions, the atmosphere on set can be far from festive.
