Prince Constantin of Liechtenstein Cause of Death

In a somber announcement, the royal house of Liechtenstein confirmed the untimely passing of Prince Constantin at the age of 51 on December 5, 2023.

The unexpected demise of the prince, who was the youngest son of the reigning Prince of Liechtenstein, Hans-Adam II, has cast a pall over the principality.

As the seventh in line to the throne, Prince Constantin is survived by his wife, Princess Marie of Liechtenstein, and their three children: Prince Moritz, Princess Georgina, and Prince Benedikt. The royal family is mourning the loss of a beloved member, and the condolences of the principality go out to Princess Marie and the grieving children.

“The Princely House regrets to announce that H.S.H. Prince Constantin von und zu Liechtenstein passed away unexpectedly on 5 December 2023. Prince Constantin was the youngest son of Prince Hans-Adam II,” the statement conveyed.

The announcement went on to highlight Prince Constantin’s role within the Liechtenstein business community, stating, “Prince Constantin was chairman of the supervisory board of Liechtenstein Group AG and a member of the Board of Directors of Liechtenstein Group Holding AG.” This underlines not only his royal duties but also his active involvement in the economic and business affairs of Liechtenstein.
