Ha-seong Kim, the versatile South Korean utility player for the San Diego Padres in Major League Baseball, is currently 28 years old.

Born on October 17, 1995, in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, Kim has established himself as a prominent figure in professional baseball with a career that spans both his native South Korea and the United States.
Kim’s journey in baseball began during his high school years at Yatap High School in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. In 2013, he played a crucial role in leading his high school team to a runner-up finish in the National High School Baseball Tournament.
Demonstrating his exceptional skills, Kim maintained an impressive .375 batting average and a .477 on-base percentage in his final high school baseball season, showcasing his ability both at the plate and on the basepaths with 20 stolen bases.

The Nexen Heroes recognized Kim’s potential, selecting him as the 41st overall pick in the 2014 Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) Draft. Making his KBO debut with the Heroes in May 2014, Kim quickly rose to prominence.
His standout performances on the field earned him the prestigious KBO Golden Glove Award in 2018, 2019, and 2020, highlighting his defensive prowess.
