Weller and Dee C. Lee embarked on a journey of love that culminated in marriage in 1987, a union that echoed with the harmonies of their shared experiences.

Their marital melody, however, reached its final note in 1998 when the couple chose different paths, concluding their marriage with a divorce. Despite the ebb in their romantic journey, Weller and Dee C. Lee shared the enduring bond of parenthood, having a son and a daughter together.

Dee C. Lee, a versatile artist, began her musical journey as a member of the British band Central Line in the early ’80s. Under the aliases Dee Sealy and Dee C. Lee, she contributed her talents to the vibrant music scene. Prior to her collaboration with Weller, she had also worked as a backing singer for the iconic duo Wham!.

Her solo career took flight with the release of “Selina Wow Wow” in 1984, showcasing her distinctive voice and artistic prowess. Simultaneously, Lee continued her musical endeavors as part of The Style Council, bringing a unique blend of her solo artistry to the collaborative table.

Beyond her contributions to The Style Council, Dee C. Lee ventured into the realms of solo albums in the 1990s, releasing “Things Will Be Sweeter” in 1994 and “Smiles” in 1998. Her creative spirit traversed various musical landscapes, allowing her to carve her own niche in the industry.

In addition to her musical pursuits, Dee C. Lee showcased her talent on the silver screen, taking on a small role as a pop star in the 2006 film “Rabbit Fever.” Her enduring presence in the music scene was reaffirmed in 2007 when she graced ITV1’s “Loose Women” show, performing her hit “See the Day.”
