The pivotal moment in Horn’s career arrived in 1979 when he became a key member of the Buggles, contributing to the creation of the iconic hit “Video Killed the Radio Star.”

Notably, this success led to an invitation to join the progressive rock band Yes, where he assumed the role of lead singer.

Navigating the evolving musical landscape of the ’80s, Horn seamlessly transitioned into a full-time producer.

His impressive repertoire includes collaborations with Dollar, ABC, Malcolm McLaren, Yes, Grace Jones, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Horn’s noteworthy contributions did not go unnoticed, earning him prestigious awards. The Brit Awards recognized him as the Best British Producer in 1983, 1985, and 1992. Furthermore, his involvement in Seal’s timeless hit “Kiss from a Rose” earned him a Grammy Award in 1995, and in 2010, he received an Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
