Trevor Horn is an English record producer and musician known for the pop and electronic music genres.

Born with a passion for music, Horn embarked on his musical journey by taking up the bass guitar at a young age. His innate talent and dedication led him to teach himself to sight-read music.

The turning point in his career came in 1979 when he joined the Buggles, a collaboration that produced the iconic hit “Video Killed the Radio Star.” Notably, Horn was invited to join the progressive rock band Yes, where he took on the role of lead singer.

As the ’80s unfolded, Horn transitioned into a full-time producer. His production credits read like a who’s who of the era, including Dollar, ABC, Malcolm McLaren, Yes, Grace Jones, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

Recognition for Horn’s contributions came in the form of prestigious awards. He clinched Brit Awards for Best British Producer in 1983, 1985, and 1992, a 1995 Grammy Award for his work on Seal’s timeless hit “Kiss from a Rose,” and a 2010 Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
