Sam Reinhart, the skilled Canadian professional ice hockey player, has not only made waves on the rink but has also captured hearts off the ice. The lucky lady who stole his heart is Jessica Reinhart, and their love story is nothing short of a fairytale.

The couple officially became one on July 7, 2023, in a breathtaking ceremony held at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California. For the Reinharts, California held a special significance.
Jessica shared exclusively with PEOPLE, “California has always held a special place in our hearts. We spend a lot of time in Palm Springs, and Hummingbird Nest really emulates that picturesque mountain scape we were looking for.”
Their journey into matrimony began against the backdrop of the pandemic, with the pair’s romance blossoming in March 2020, shortly before the world changed. Their initial meeting in January of that year set the stage for a remarkable journey.
Jessica reminisces, “I ended up moving to Vancouver to live with Sam’s whole family for what I thought would be two weeks, and it ended up being 8 months!” It was during this time that their connection deepened, proving that love knows no bounds, even in the face of unexpected circumstances.

The love story reached a milestone on December 24, 2021, when Sam popped the question, and Jessica joyfully accepted. The engagement was a testament to the strong bond they had forged over months of challenges and joys.
Reflecting on the meaning of marriage, Jessica shares, “To us, marriage means choosing your teammate, your life partner, and best friend. Getting married in front of all of our loved ones just solidifies that commitment to each other and joins our two separate lives into one.”
Away from the glitz and glamour of the hockey world, Jessica Reinhart is making her mark as a medical assistant at North Toronto Eye Care since March 2019 . According to LinkedIn, Jessica earned her BA degree from Western University and is a certified mid-level integrative nutrition health coach, showcasing her passion for holistic well-being.
