Pooling his passion for reporting, Pool transitioned through sports, hard news, and ultimately became a stalwart figure in weather forecasting.
His commitment and dedication resonated with viewers until his retirement in 2019 after an impressive 42-year career.
Facing the challenges of early-onset Alzheimer’s privately, Pool’s wife, Michelle Pool, shared that he valiantly fought the disease.
“He told me multiple times to ‘never count me out,’ and we never did. This past week, it became too much, and he passed away peacefully,” she revealed.
