Mozart had several nicknames throughout his life, including “Wolfie,” “Wolferl,” “Wofl,” and “Wolfgangerl”. He also enjoyed calling himself “Amadѐ,” a shortened version of his widely-recognized middle name “Amadeus”.

Mozart’s last words are believed to be “The taste of death is upon me”. However, there is no definitive record of his last words, and the exact phrase he spoke before his death remains a mystery.

In Milan, Mozart wrote the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto (1770). From 1782 to 1785 Mozart mounted concerts with himself as a soloist, presenting three or four new piano concertos in each season.
In 1781, Mozart moved to Vienna, where he achieved great success as a composer and performer. Mozart’s music is known for its beauty, complexity, and emotional depth.
Mozart also composed many symphonies, including the “Jupiter Symphony” (1788), and chamber music, such as the “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” (1787).
