Sergio Tomás Massa is married to Malena Galmarini, a fellow politician, and a member of a Peronist political family. Galmarini and Massa met in 1996 and married in 2001.

The couple has two children, Milagros and Tomás. Through Galmarini’s father, Fernando Galmarini, Sergio Tomás Massa is the son-in-law of TV presenter and vedette Moria Casán.
Malena Galmarini is currently the president of Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos (AySA), a state-owned company that provides water and sanitation services to the public. If her husband wins the presidential elections in the second round on November 19, 2023, she could assume a relevant role as first lady of Argentina.

Malena Galmarini is a political scientist and a member of a Peronist political family. She was a pre-candidate for mayor for the party of Tigre, a town in the province of Buenos Aires, which Massa governed between 2007 and 2013, and where she served as councilor and secretary of Health Policy between 2008 and 2019.
Sergio Tomás Massa is an Argentine politician who became Minister of Economy on 3 August 2022. From 2019 to 2022, he was the National Deputy for the centre-left coalition Frente de Todos, elected in Buenos Aires Province, and the President of the Chamber of Deputies.
