Peter Seidler was an American businessman and the former chairman of the San Diego Padres.
In 2012, Seidler, alongside his uncle Peter and Ron Fowler, co-founded the O’Malley Group.

In the 2022 season, Seidler increased the Padres’ payroll to an impressive $214 million, ranking sixth-highest in MLB.

Beyond the baseball diamond, Seidler made a significant impact in the world of finance. In 1992, he founded Seidler Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Marina del Rey, California.
Serving as the managing partner, Seidler played a pivotal role in the firm’s growth, overseeing its assets under management rise from an estimated $1.8 billion in 2020 to an impressive $3.5 billion in 2023.
Seidler’s passed away in San Diego on November 14, 2023, at the age of 63.
