Transitioning to the professional realm, Hodges made waves when signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2019.

His journey continued with a reserve/future contract with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, though he was waived later that year.

Undeterred, Hodges found a new home with the Ottawa Redblacks, signing a three-year contract.

Despite a relatively short stint with the Redblacks, Hodges left his mark, playing in four games and displaying his quarterback skills.

On April 22, 2022, the Redblacks announced his retirement, marking the conclusion of a career that blended football excellence with a unique talent for duck calling.

Hodges, the “Duck” quarterback, remains an intriguing figure whose story goes beyond touchdowns and passes, encompassing a journey filled with accomplishments and unexpected twists.
