Taraja Ramesess: Black Panther and Avengers stuntman dies alongside three of his children

In a tragic incident that has left the film industry and fans in shock, Taraja Ramsess, a talented Hollywood stuntman known for his work on iconic films like ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ lost his life in a devastating car crash on Halloween night.

The heartbreaking incident also claimed the lives of three of his children, including an 8-week-old baby.

The accident occurred on the Interstate in DeKalb County, Georgia when Ramsess was driving a pickup truck with his five children on board.

Tragically, he turned onto an exit ramp and collided with a tractor-trailer, leading to a horrific outcome that has left a void in the hearts of many.

Ramsess, whose work as a stuntman and in the art department on over 40 film projects had left a mark on the film industry, met his untimely demise at the scene of the accident.

Joining him in this devastating tragedy were two of his daughters, a 13-year-old and an 8-week-old baby. Additionally, his 10-year-old son, who was initially on life support, also succumbed to his injuries, compounding the grief of the Ramsess family.

Taraja Ramsess’s mother, Akili, spoke about the tragic accident and its impact on their family. She shared that, amidst the unimaginable loss, two of her son’s daughters survived the crash.

Furthermore, their three-year-old child, Shazia, who sustained minor injuries, is currently in the process of recovery in a hospital.

The Ramsess family, along with their well-wishers, are undoubtedly going through an incredibly difficult time, and our hearts go out to them.

Ramsess was more than just a talented stuntman and set dresser. His contributions to the world of cinema extended beyond his work on Marvel blockbusters like “Black Panther,” “Avengers: Endgame,” and “Avengers: Infinity War.”

He also showcased his skills in films such as “The Suicide Squad” and “Creed III.”

Moreover, Ramsess was a part of Ava DuVernay’s production company ARRAY.
