Sir Jon Trimmer wife: Who is Jacqui Oswald?

Jacqui Oswald, also known as Jacqui Trimmer, was a fellow ballet dancer and the wife of Sir Jon Trimmer. They met on the very first day they both joined the New Zealand Ballet Company in 1958.

Trimmer and his wife, Jacqui Oswald married in 1963 and danced together for many years. Jacqui also left her mark in ballet and was also appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, for services to ballet. They were later blessed with two children, Daniel and Sara.

Sir Jon Trimmer KNZM MBE was a New Zealand ballet dancer who performed with the New Zealand Ballet Company in 1958 and 1959. Sir Jon Charles Trimmer KNZM MBE was born on September 18, 1939, in Petone, Lower Hutt, New Zealand.

Sir Jon Trimmer was the patron of the Centastage theatrical company as well as Te Raukura ki Kapiti. In the 1999 Queen’s Birthday Honours, Sir Jon Trimmer was appointed a Knight Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to ballet.
