Late John Gray was a Canadian journalist, author, and husband of late Elizabeth Gray.

The couple had three children – Rachel, Colin and Joshua.
John was an acclaimed writer whose notable works included “Paul Martin: The Power of Ambition,” a biography that shed light on Paul Martin’s unwavering determination to become Prime Minister.
A seasoned journalist with a rich career spanning two decades, John’s professional journey unfolded through various roles at The Globe and Mail.
He served as a writer, editor, foreign correspondent, and eventually as the Ottawa bureau chief, showcasing his versatility and commitment to journalism.
His contributions didn’t go unnoticed, as he earned three National Newspaper Awards.
John passed away on September 23, 2020, from complications of Parkinson’s disease.
