Kenwright’s contributions included staging West End runs of “Whistle Down the Wind” at the Palace Theatre, a gripping rendition of “Festen” in London, on a UK tour, and even on Broadway. “The Big Life,” “Elmina’s Kitchen,” “Scrooge – The Musical,” “The Night of the Iguana,” “A Few Good Men,” and “A Man For All Seasons” were just some of the many gems that adorned his prolific career.

His dedication to theater also extended to UK tours of classics like “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Tommy,” “Tell Me on a Sunday,” and “This is Elvis.”

One of his significant contributions was the London revival of “Cabaret” at the Lyric Theatre in September 2006.

Kenwright served as the chairman of Everton Football Club for an impressive two decades, from 2004 until his death.
