Swedish singer and composer Tove Lo. She is renowned for her unpolished, grunge-inspired approach to pop music. In 2006, she started the rock group Tremblebee. Lo continued a career in songwriting after it broke up, and in 2011 she was offered a publishing deal by Warner/Chappell Music. She developed into a popular songwriter while working with producers Alexander Kronlund, Max Martin, and Xenomania, independently recording and publishing her own songs.

Lo signed with Universal Music, Island, and Polydor in 2013. She gained prominence the following year thanks to her debut album, Queen of the Clouds, which debuted in October 2014 at position 14 on the US Billboard 200 list.
