Raechelle Chase, a former professional bodybuilder and fitness model located in Auckland, has passed away.
Chase, a single mother of five, had 1.4 million Facebook fans and shared motivational articles about maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This month, she passed away sooner.

She was the first woman from New Zealand to compete in the 2011 Figure Olympia bodybuilding competition in Las Vegas. She has recently worked as a fitness influencer and model, providing online fitness mentoring.

Anna Chase, her eldest child, praised her mother for making so many sacrifices to provide her kids with an adventurous existence and for achieving all of her personal goals.

Chris Chase was the husband of Raechelle. After divorcing her husband, Chris Chase, Chase penned an article for Stuff in 2016 in which she discussed her experience exiting a “toxic and abusive” relationship.
After being detained in 2012 for his involvement in the distribution of a designer drug that was similar to ecstasy throughout New Zealand, Chris Chase was sentenced to ten years in jail.
