On August 31, 1981, Joshua Close was born in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He is Canadian-born and of the White-Canadian ethnic group. Since he was a little child, Close has been fascinated in playing. In his senior year of high school (Ridge High School), he joined a local theater organization and began participating in plays. In addition, he majored in sociology at Ryerson University before deciding to become an actor.
