Authorities in Georgia have released dash and bodycam footage showing the final moments of Leonard Cure shortly before he was shot. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is conducting an independent investigation of the incident.

This is a tragic incident that highlights the need for police reform and accountability. Mary Cure, Leonard Cure’s mother, is calling for justice for her son and spoke during a news conference about the death of her son.

It is important to remember Leonard Cure as an innocent man who was wrongfully imprisoned for over 16 years and whose life was cut short due to police brutality. May he rest in peace.
