A professional ice hockey player named Dylan Larkin has been the Detroit Red Wings’ backup captain.
The Wings selected Larkin as the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft as a member of the National Hockey League (NFL).

Larkin was a standout athlete who was noted for his aggressive style of play even in high school. He received the Freshman of the Year honor while a member of the Michigan Wolverines.

He was also chosen for the All-Freshman Team, First Team All-Big Ten, and Second Team All-American teams. Dylan has established multiple rookie records and garnered various honors since going pro. After an amateur tryout, he was immediately assigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Red Wings’ AHL affiliate.

Did Dylan Larkin graduate from college?

Larkin started his college career at the University of Michigan after finishing high school. During the 2014–15 season, he played for the Michigan Wolverines there.

He received the National Rookie of the Month award from the Hockey Commissioners’ Association in January. Not to mention, Larkin was the best freshman in college hockey in his first season.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with honors and was chosen by the Detroit Red Wings in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
