Matthew Mitcham is a professional diver from Australia. He was born in Brisbane, Queensland, on March 2, 1988. His close friends also call him “Matt.” Sports piqued Matthew’s interest when he was very young.

His grandfather’s girlfriend gave him a trampoline, which is how he got his start in trampoline gymnastics. Later, when performing dives, he practiced the maneuvers and demonstrated them to his pals when a diving coach caught sight of him. Matt has undergone continual growth since that time.
He has won a number of medals and titles to date, including a gold medal in the 10 m platform during the 2008 Summer Olympics, four silver medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and many more.
