Toon Greebe’s journey as a professional darts player began in 1997 and, over the years, he left an indelible mark on the sport.
A shining moment in Greebe’s career came in 2010 when he earned a spot at the PDC World Darts Championship through the European Order of Merit.
The year 2019 witnessed Greebe’s triumph at the Poland Open, where he conquered Sebastian Steyer with a score of 6–3.

However, adversity struck Toon Greebe with a harsh blow in 2017 when a severe health crisis necessitated the amputation of his right foot.
The struggle continued, leading to a second leg amputation in late 2022, taking the lower part of his left leg.
On October 16, 2023, the darts world mourned the loss of this warrior at the young age of 35. Although the championship titles eluded him, Greebe’s legacy transcends mere trophies.
