Suzanne Somers was an American celebrity icon, who made a mark in the world of entertainment and health advocacy.

Born on October 16, 1946, her rise to fame began in the late 1970s when she took on the memorable role of Chrissy Snow in “Three’s Company.”

Her portrayal of Chrissy, brimming with humor and charm, enchanted audiences from 1977 to 1981, earning her a special place in the hearts of viewers.

Her television journey continued when, in 1991, she returned to the small screen as Carol Foster Lambert in “Step by Step,” a role she embraced until 1998.

Beyond her acting career, Suzanne Somers revealed her literary talents, authoring several books. Among them, “Ageless: The Naked Truth About Bioidentical Hormones” offered insights into bioidentical hormones and aging gracefully, and “Knockout” passionately advocated alternative cancer treatments.

In 2012, she hosted “The Suzanne Show,” a 13-episode series on the Lifetime Network. The show provided a platform for experts and guests to discuss a wide range of topics related to health and wellness, underlining her dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Somers’s journey was not without challenges. In 2000, she received a stage II breast cancer diagnosis. A lumpectomy followed by radiation therapy led to her conquering the disease.

On October 15, 2023, the day before her 77th birthday, Somers tragically passed away at her home in Palm Springs, California.

Her story remains an inspiration to many.
