In this remarkable story, we’ll delve into the lives and careers of James, Trevor, and Brendan Van Riemsdyk, a trio of siblings who have all made their mark in the world of professional ice hockey.

Starting with the eldest brother, James Van Riemsdyk, the American professional ice hockey left-winger has become a prominent figure in the NHL.

Throughout his career, he has showcased his scoring prowess and versatility, earning him a spot in the Philadelphia Flyers, the Toronto Maple Leafs and currently the Boston Bruins.

Trevor, the middle brother, has taken on the role of a defenseman in the NHL. He embarked on his professional journey after graduating from the University of New Hampshire.

After signing with the Chicago Blackhawks, he became a valuable part of a Stanley Cup-winning team during his very first season. Since then, he has continued to make his presence known in the league, with stints in the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes.

Completing the Van Riemsdyk hockey trio is Brendan, the youngest of the siblings. His journey to the professional ranks began with college hockey at the University of New Hampshire and Northeastern University.

Brendan signed a contract with the Reading Royals of the ECHL in August 2020, taking the first steps toward his dream of making it to the NHL.

The success of the Van Riemsdyk siblings is not only a testament to their talent and hard work but also a reflection of the unwavering support of their parents, Frans and Allison Van Riemsdyk.
