Known as the sister of legendary criminal and crime leader Raffaele Cutolo, the former head of the Nuova Camorra Organizzata (NCO), Rosetta Cutolo was born in 1937.

She was made the new boss since her brother, who had spent most of his life in prison, could only give orders to her. She wasn’t particularly fond of her brother because she thought he spoke to the media excessively and frequently gave interviews from his own cell.

A 16th-century mansion with 365 apartments, tennis courts, and a swimming pool, Castello Mediceo is where Rosetta operated. Early in the 1980s, she finally lost control of her nasty temper and gave the order to blow up a nearby police station.

Cutolo evaded capture by driving his automobile past security checks with the assistance of the local priest. She supervised operations from a number of safe homes spread across several cities for more than ten years after that.
