The organisers of the 3Music Awards 2021 has released the full list of nominees for the Next Rated Act 2021 edition.

According to the board of the awards scheme, this category consists of artistes not signed to a major record label but making it to the mainstream industry. The category includes all the former ten regions of Ghana except the six newly created regions.
However, the six newly created regions fall under their respective regions they were derived. 3Music awards organisers are of the view that these artistes are the hardworking emerging and/or leading artistes in the various regions but not A-list or could be making it to the New Act Of The Year category.
This category is a category and any artiste who wins it becomes the first artiste to win the category since it was created.
