3 Music Awards: Davido Wins African Artist Of The Year

Nigerian singer, Davido Adekele, has won the African Artiste of the year at the just ended 3 music awards show.

Davido battled it out with top-notch artists like Dunsin, Judikal, Sarkodie, Diana Hamilton, Stonebwoy and many others to emerge winner of the category.

3Music award is a Ghanaian award ceremony held annually since 2018 to celebrate Ghanaian music. It was established by the 3Music network with Media General TV3 as Broadcasters. The multimedia group became the media right holder in the second and subsequent edition.

A total of 31 awards were received at the 4th edition of the 3Music Awards after the introduction of new categories to the scheme. The event was hosted by radio and television presenters Naa Ashorkor and Jay Foley.

Performances for the night included Yaw Tog, Kwaku Flick, Dead Peepol, Medikal, Gyakie, Diana Hamilton, Efe Grace, Kobby Salm, MzVee, Jah Lead, Larusso and many others.
