The family of Lois Abena Koranteng, a 24-year-old petroleum engineering graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), is seeking justice after her mysterious death during a business trip.

According to a post on X by an account named Edhub, Lois was found unconscious in a pool while on a business trip with her boss and his driver on June 8, 2024.
The group had checked into a hotel in Takoradi, where they each stayed in separate rooms for the night.
Early on the morning of June 8, a hotel worker discovered Lois’s body in the hotel swimming pool, wearing only a bra and underwear. Despite being rushed to the nearest hospital, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Following an official complaint, the police conducted an autopsy, which revealed no cuts or blood stains on her body, suggesting no immediate signs of foul play.
However, the investigation was complicated by the fact that the hotel’s CCTV cameras were reportedly not functioning at the time of the incident, leaving no video evidence of what transpired.
As investigations continue, Lois’s family is determined to uncover the truth behind their daughter’s tragic death.
